B-L High School Delegates Attend RYLA Seminar

Four delegates from B-L High School were chosen to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) seminar June 9th through 15th at Erskine College.  The 37th annual camp, which is for rising high school juniors and seniors, was designed to help delegates develop sound leadership techniques for use at school, in extracurricular activities, and in life.

Congratulations to Caden Bryant, Carley Muilenburg, Kiara Quattlebaum and Ke’Shoun Williams, all rising seniors, for being selected as this year’s delegates.  These students were sponsored by the B-L Rotary and Twin City Rotary Clubs.

The RYLA seminar brings together outstanding students and leaders from academic, political and business arenas for a week of workshops, discussions, and activities.  The emphasis of the seminar focuses on leadership skills, communication, cooperation and decision making.

RYLA is sponsored by Rotary District 7750 (Western South Carolina).
