Item Drop-Off/Pick-Up Event Information


Attention parents and guardians of current K4 through 11th grade students in Lexington County School District Three:

Please make plans to stop by your child’s school on June 2nd or 3rd to drop-off items that belong to the district and/or pick-up your child’s personal belongings that were left in the school prior to the school shutdown.

Items that would be considered “district-owned” that would need to be returned include:  textbooks, Chromebooks (if you do not want to keep them over the summer), library books, band instruments, sports uniforms, sports helmets, JROTC uniforms, etc.  Parents/guardians can also use this as an opportunity to turn in any assignments that were completed virtually during the shutdown.

Parents/guardians who need to pay fees for a child can do so by either a) visiting our online payment portal via the following link or b) they can wait and pay the fees during the Schedule Pick-Up event in August.

In an effort to help administrators ensure social distancing measures are practiced and to keep traffic flowing, please pay close attention to the schedule below.  This schedule, which is divided by student last names, applies to all four schools in Lexington Three.  A morning and afternoon option is being provided to everyone in an attempt to accommodate all schedules.  


June 2nd                

8:00 am - 12:00 pm - Students Last Name A-L

1:00 pm - 5:00 p.m - Students Last Name M-Z


June 3rd    

8:00 am - 12:00 pm - Students Last Name M-Z
1:00 pm - 5:00 p.m - Students Last Name A-L

The drop-off/pick-up process at each school will be conducted in a drive-through format.  Specific information for each campus is below.  Please note that at NO TIME should parents/guardians, students, etc. exit their cars.  Instead, a district staff member will come to your vehicle.

B-L Primary School:  Due to construction that is underway at the school, we ask that parents/guardians refer to the attached map which clearly outlines the route they will need to use at BLPS.  

B-L Elementary School:  Parents/guardians should use the car rider loop at the front of the school for item drop-off/pick-up.  Please be prepared to provide the student’s full name and homeroom teacher to staff members.

B-L Middle School:  Parents/guardians should use the car rider loop at the front of the school for item drop-off/pick-up.  If a student needs to return a band instrument, families can exit the car rider loop once they are finished there and make their way over to the bus loop behind the school.  There, they can drop off instruments at the band room.

B-L High School:  Parents/guardians should use the front driveway of the school where staff members will be staged in the main parking lot.
