Information for Staff

 

ALL staff are required to work on an eLearning day, but due to the potential for severe weather or other emergency conditions, we will complete assignments from home.  The district will be using a Google site to provide assignments to each group of employees based on the recommendations of the supervisor.  Click here to access the website.


Core, Resource, Self-Contained, Middle/High School Related Arts, CATE 

Teachers of all core classes, resource and self-contained special education teachers, middle and high school related arts and CATE teachers will have office hours to provide support and assistance to students according to the following schedule:


Primary and Elementary School Teachers:  8:30 - 10:00 am and 1:00 - 2:30 pm 

Middle and High School Teachers: 10:00 - 11:30 am and 2:30 - 4:00 pm

Teachers can communicate with students/parents via Google Classroom, email, Remind, or Seesaw to answer questions or provide help during office hours. (The Remind app is the only way to communicate without internet access.)

 

Support Staff

All other staff can access assignments using the following website:  bit.ly/lex3staff.  Use the tab associated with your job category to access assignments.  There are three days of assignments which will be used in order (day one, day two, and day three) depending on the number of days that we are making up.  Assignments will be available at 7:00 a.m. on any eLearning day and requirements must be completed on the eLearning day.  Employees that do not complete the assignments on the eLearning day will be charged a day of personal leave.  

 

If you are unclear about your assignment for an eLearning Day or have issues accessing it, you may email Angie Rye (arye@lex3.org) or contact your supervisor.  All staff will be notified in the event of an eLearning day and will be provided with a reminder for the assignment to be completed on that day.
