Registration for New Students (2021-22 School Year)

 
Welcome to Lexington County School District Three!
 
Please follow the below directions to register brand new students in Lexington County School District Three for the 2021-2022 school year. Please note that these registration instructions are ONLY for students who have never been enrolled in Lexington Three.
 
*If you are attempting to register a child for our 4-year-old kindergarten program, please stop here and instead, download the paper registration packet that can be found by clicking this link. Paper registration packets for 4K must be turned into B-L Primary School by no later than July 22nd. Parents who registered their child for our 4K program back in the Spring do not have to do anything further at this time.

Step 1: Pre-Registration
 
1. Please open your internet browser and type in the following address: https://ecollect.accelaschool.com/lcsd3
2. Fill out all of the fields in the Pre-Registration Form and submit it.
3. A confirmation message should appear on the screen when the form is successfully submitted.
4. If you have another brand new student to enroll, you will be given the option to "enroll another." Enter the information for that student and submit the form.
5. After your pre-registration form(s) has/have been submitted, they will be approved by our school personnel and you will receive an email with access information and instructions on how to create an account in the PowerSchool Parent Portal so that you can complete the enrollment process for your student(s). Please check your junk/spam folder for this email if it seems to be taking a while to receive. If you are still not seeing it, you might need to reach out to your carrier to see if they have blocked the email for some reason or you can contact our schools directly. Please do not pre-register your student again. 
6. Once you have received the email(s) with your student(s) access information, follow one of the directions listed below. You should receive an email with unique access information for each brand new student you pre-register.
 
 
 
Step 2: PowerSchool Parent Portal Account & Registration
 
Parents who need to create a PowerSchool Parent Portal account should follow these steps:
 
  • Click the link within the email to create a parent portal account or visit https://lex3.powerschool.com/public/.
  • Select "Create Account."
  • Fill in the details to set up a Parent Account. Multiple students can be linked using their individual Access IDs and Access Passwords found in the pre-registration emails. You should add all of your brand new students to your Parent Portal account at this time.
  • Once you're finished entering the information, select "enter" at the bottom of the screen. A verification email will be sent to your email account. IMPORTANT: Click the link within the verification email to authorize your Parent Portal account before proceeding to complete the enrollment process.

  • After you have authorized your PowerSchool Parent Account and have logged into the system, you can begin the enrollment process.
  • To start, select the student name in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
  • Then, click on "Forms" in the left-hand column of the page.
  • Begin entering the information. There are 13 documents that must be completed for each brand new student. Forms will be listed across the top of the page in tabs. After all forms have been filled out, submit them.
  • If you are enrolling multiple brand new students, you must submit the 13 forms for each child. After you complete the registration process for one student, you can register another child by toggling to his/her name in the blue header at the top of the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Then, you will click on "Forms" in the left-hand column to begin registering him/her.
  • Once you submit all of your registration forms for each child, school personnel will review them. You will receive an email stating that they were either approved or need revisions.
 
 
Parents who need to add a brand new student to an existing PowerSchool Parent Portal account should follow these steps:
 
  • Visit the following link to sign-in to your previously set-up Parent Portal account using your existing username and password: https://lex3.powerschool.com/public/
  • After signing in, go to "Account Preferences" in the far left-hand column.
  • From the "Account Preferences" screen the new student can be added using his/her Access ID and Access Password included in the pre-registration email. To do this, select the "Students" tab at the top of the page and then click "Add." Fill out the required information.
  • Once you're finished linking your new students, you can begin completing the registration documents.
  • To start, select the student name that you would like to begin with in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
  • Then, click on "Forms" in the left-hand column of the page.

Notes for all parents of brand new students:
 
  • If you're unable to upload any documents during the registration process, please contact your child's school for additional instructions.
  • If you need assistance with translations in another language, please contact your child's school for assistance.
 
 
 
Important Information About School Fees:
 
You will be able to pay student fees inside of the PowerSchool Parent Portal beginning in July. More information will be forthcoming.
 
In the meantime, fee information for the 2021-2022 school year is listed below.

There are no school fees for B-L Primary School K3 or K4 students.
