Students can access over 20 Midlands Technical College courses on the Batesburg-Leesville High School campus. BLHS teachers Mrs. Cruea (Math), Mr. Thomas (History), Mrs. Baxley (English), Mrs. Fort (Education), and Mrs. Blashka (Science) are certified MTC instructors, providing access to college courses as a part of our regular school day. Additionally, MTC instructors use the BLHS campus as a satellite to offer face-to-face instruction in courses like Sociology 101 and Speech 205. Hybrid, virtual, and fully online courses complete our course offerings to provide access to a versatile college experience while still in high school. This program is offered at no cost to students. BLHS is thankful to the Lexington Three School Board for ensuring the cost of books and laptops are covered for students. Speak with your counselor for more details.
