
Lexington County School District Three is excited about enrichment session opportunities for students during the 2023-2024 school year as part of the new modified calendar.
The first Enrichment Session (also known as BLast -- Batesburg-Leesville Accelerates Success and Talent) will be held September 25th through 28th for students in grades K4 through 12th grade. Participation during this week is completely voluntary. Students who are not participating in an academic camp or enrichment session do not come to school during this week.
Please note that registration for our camps has closed. Students who were enrolled in a camp should have received an informational letter confirming their participation. Additional information can also be found below.
Enrichment Camps (run Monday, September 25th through Thursday, September 28th only):
Game, Set, Match Sports Camp (Grades 3rd through 5th) - Will be held at B-L Elementary School
Lego Coding Camp (Grades K5 through 3rd) - Will be held at B-L Elementary School
Hometown Heroes Camp (Grades K4 through 2nd) - Will be held at B-L Elementary School
Full STEAM Ahead Camp (Grades 3rd through 5th) - Will be held at B-L Elementary School
Art Academy Camp (Grades K4 through 2nd) - Will be held at B-L Elementary School
You Got Game Team Sports Camp (Grades 6th through 8th) - Will be held at B-L Middle School
Music and More Camp (Grades 6th through 8th) - Will be held at B-L Middle School
Panther Running Club Camp (Grades K5 through 8th) - Will be held at B-L Middle School
Zoom Into Nature Photography and Art Camp (Grades 6th through 10th) - Will be held at B-L Middle School
To Infinity and Beyond Art Camp (Grades 3rd through 5th) - Will be held at B-L Middle School
Health Science Career Exploration Camp (Grades 9th through 12th) - Will be held at B-L High School in the Career and Technology Education Building
Basketball Camp (Grades 5th through 8th) - Will be held at the B-L High School gymnasium
Future Athletic Trainers of B-L Camp (Grades 6th through 8th) - Will be held at B-L High School in the Career and Technology Education Building
Academic Camps (run Monday, September 25th through Thursday, September 28th only):
Academic camps for students who qualified in grades K4 through 5th grade will be held at B-L Elementary School.
Academic camps including Acellus credit recovery and seat recovery for students who qualified in grades 6th through 12th will be held at B-L Middle School.
General Information For All Participants:
Doors will open at B-L Elementary School at 7:45 am each morning for student drop-off. Camps at BLES will begin promptly at 8 am and will run until 2:15 pm. Students can be dropped off and picked up at the front of the school. Please pull all the way down to the last breezeway at the front of the school for students to exit/enter cars.
Doors will open at B-L Middle School at 7:30 am each morning for student drop-off. Camps at BLMS will begin promptly at 8 am and will run until 2:30 pm. Students can be dropped off and picked up at the front of the school.
Doors will open at B-L High School at 7:40 am each morning for student drop-off. Camps at BLHS will begin promptly at 8 am and will run until 2:40 pm. Students can be dropped off and picked up at the location where the camps are being held. (Health Science Camp and Future Athletic Trainers Camp will be held in the Career and Technology Education building. The Basketball Camp will be held in the gymnasium.)
All students will receive a free breakfast, lunch and snack each day.
