Lexington County School District Three announces the return of Mr. Jamie Gartman as the new Director of Transportation. Mr. Gartman officially began his new role on July 1, 2025 and will oversee all aspects of the district’s transportation operations.
A United States Army Veteran, Mr. Gartman brings with him a wealth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to service. He is no stranger to Lexington Three, having previously served as the district’s Director of Transportation during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years. Most recently, he has served as the Director of Transportation for the School District of Newberry County from 2020 through 2024.
As Director of Transportation, Mr. Gartman will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of Lexington Three’s students to and from school each day. His focus will include overseeing bus routes, driver training, vehicle maintenance, and transportation policy compliance.
Mr. Gartman has three children enrolled in Lexington Three schools: Kaydrian, who will be entering 11th grade; Kyrie, who will be starting 9th grade; and Auri, who will be in 5th grade.
