Lexington Three is proud to celebrate Nurse Stacie Neeley for receiving an Honorable Mention for the 2025 South Carolina Association of School Nurses (SCASN) School Nurse of the Year Award. Nurse Neeley was nominated for this prestigious recognition by Lexington County School District Three District Nurse Kim Hendrix.
Nurse Neeley is widely respected for her warmth, commitment, and unwavering integrity in caring for others. With more than 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she has served in a variety of nursing specialties including pediatric, post-operative, and cardiac care. However, her professional legacy is most clearly defined by her 25-year devotion to school nursing.
Her school nursing career began at Pelion High School where she served for six years before moving to Lexington High School, supporting students there for the next 15 years. Although she briefly stepped into a nurse supervisory role, Nurse Neeley’s passion for direct student care led her to Batesburg-Leesville Middle School where she currently serves as the school’s dedicated nurse.
The SCASN Awards Committee noted that Nurse Neeley’s nomination stood out for showcasing her exceptional clinical expertise, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to student health and well-being. The committee shared that they were deeply impressed by the impact of her work and the respect she has earned among colleagues, students, and families.
We are incredibly proud of Nurse Neeley and grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and care she brings to our school community every day.
