The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) will provide $5,954,267 to Lexington School District Three over the next three years, as a result of the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of a two-phase process for accessing these funds, the District is required first to seek input from stakeholders across the community to determine the focus that should guide the District in the development of its Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan, which is required by the South Carolina Department of Education and the federal government.

To view a copy of the District’s draft 2021-2022 Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan, click here. The input and feedback received from stakeholders will guide the District as it plans to use ESSER III funds both to prepare for a safe return to in-person instruction as well as a continuity of services.

Additionally, the second requirement for accessing these funds includes stakeholder input for the use of the ESSER funds to ensure effective and efficient use of all relief funding. The online feedback form to provide input for both the 2021-22 reopening plans and ESSER funds can be accessed below.
