On Monday, February 14th, every teacher at B-L Middle School was the recipient of a box of classroom supplies and a Starbucks gift card courtesy of one very thoughtful student and employees from Alva-Gwyn, Inc., a local business in Leesville.
8th grade student Alicia Kimry came up with the idea to put together some Valentine goodies for her teachers. When her mom, Mary McLeod-Kimry heard about her idea, she rallied additional donations from her work, Alva-Gwyn, Inc., and turned the gift giving into a school-wide donation.
