Congratulations to B-L Middle School teacher Courtney Ingle on being chosen to participate in the Palmetto State Teachers Association's STAR Leadership Seminar! To be included in the program, teachers must complete a rigorous application process that includes essays and recommendations from peers and administrators.
The first STAR seminar was held in 1994 and since that time more than 550 teachers from across South Carolina have been honored as STAR teachers. Teachers who have taught for at least 5 years in South Carolina’s public schools and have direct contact with students are eligible to apply.
Mrs. Ingle, who is a former Lexington Three District Teacher of the Year, will attend the week-long, all expenses-paid seminar in March on Seabrook Island.
